Epson Printer Not Printing? Troubleshooting Guide
Epson printer not printing? Check connection, print queue, default printer, driver, paper and common Epson setup problems.
1. Check the printer itself
Look for paper, cartridge, cover or maintenance warnings on the Epson display or status lights. Resolve the physical warning before troubleshooting the computer.
2. Confirm the network
For Wi-Fi models, confirm the printer is connected to the same network used by the computer. A changed router, password or network name is a common cause of lost connectivity.
3. Clear the queue
Remove failed print jobs and try one small document. If the test works, the original document or application may be the issue.
4. Check the driver and selected printer
Make sure the current Epson device is installed and selected. Duplicate or outdated printer entries can cause jobs to go to the wrong device.
Before you change anything: If the printer is actively printing or moving, let the current job finish or cancel it from the queue. For physical clearing or cable work, power the printer down when the manufacturer's instructions call for it.
